Councilmen Present: Terry, Lockett, Bartlett, Seabridge Councilmen Absent: LeBard Mayor Seabridge appointed Councilman Lockett to serve on the Finance Committee in the absence of Councilman LeBard.- On motion by Bartlett seconded by Lockett the applications Business for license to conduct business in the City of Huntington Beach were Licenses granted as follows: Paul C. Jones, hardware store at 112 Main Street. Herbert Farrington, peddling novelties, veteran's license. Ora Gross, peddling novelties, veteran's.license. Paul B. Scroggins, peddling novelties, veteran's license. Norman Johnstone, peddling novelties, veteran's license. The Clerk gave the second and final reading to Ordinance Ord.#637, No. 637, an ordinance of the City of Huntington Beach prohibiting the final • reading transferring of oil from oil storage or prodlxctt6h tah4s tm trucks and adding Section 2428.1 to the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code.
