Monday, February 27, 1956
Pursuant to the adjournment of the meeting of the City
Council on Monday, February 20, 1956, Mayor Seabridge called the
adjourned meeting to order at �:30 o'clock P.M.
Councilmen.present: Lockett, Bartlett, Seabridge
Councilmen absent: Terry, LeBard
The Clerk reported the Planning Commission at their re-
gular meeting held on Tuesday, February 21, 1956, passed and ap-
proved a motion requesting the City Council to retain the services
of Charles Diggs, Planning Consultant, on a month to month basis at
Charles
Diggs new a.fee of $125.00 per month.
Planning .
Consultant On motion by Bartlett seconded by Lockett, in accordance
with the request of the -Planning Commission, Charles Diggs, Planning
Consultant, be retained to sefve the Planning Commission for studies
and advisement on a month to month basis, at a fee of $125.00 per
month, was approved.
On motion by Lockett seconded by Bartlett the Purchasing
Repair Piano Agent be authorized to issue a purchase order to cover the needed
Lake Park
Clubhouse repairs to the Knabe piano located in the Lake Park Clubhouse and
said cost of repairs not to exceed 0150.00 was approved.
On motion by Lockett seconded by Bartlett••the request of
Ronald C. Smith for termination of American Automobile Insurance
Shears #1
well- Company drilling bond No. S-465-1254 on well Renner, Wells, Shears
term.drlg.
bond #1, located on Lots 6 and 8, Block 207, Huntington Beach Tract, in
compliance with Section 2427.3 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance
Code having submitted a copy of the sub -surface survey of the well,
and the operator and bonding company be notified of the termination;
was approved.
On motion by Bartlett seconded by Lockett the request of
Glines #1 -Rona]I C. Smith for termination of American Automobile Insurance Com-

16, Block 307, Huntington Beach Tract, in compliance with Section

On motion by Lockett seconded by Battlett the request of
Bergey #1
well the S. L.-W. Company for termination of the United Pacific Insurance

up bond Company bond No. 238272 on Bergey #1, well located on Lots 5 and 7,
Block 308, Huntington Beach Tract, having complied with the clean-up
requirements of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, and the .operator
and bonding company be notified'of the termination, was approved.

The Committee working with the lessees located on•the
Donald
City property to be sold to the Edison dompany reported that

Donald Hampton,' proprietor of the Southwest Sandblasting,- was in
agreement as to the area of relocation -and arrangements for.moving
Garrish
and requested the new lease agreement be fora term of five years,
Bros.
The Garrishes.were not all present to discuss terms of their proposed
new lease,'but John Garrish indicated they would not be satisfied
with a five year lease and if that was -the full term to be allowed,
they would look elsewhere.
On motion by Bartlett seconded by Lockett the City Coun-
cil adjourned to 7:00 o'clock P.M., Thursday, March 1, 1956..
