HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-06-16169 MINUTES OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION Council Chambers, City Hall Huntington Beach, California Tuesday, June 16th, 1959 COLZIISSIONERS PRESENT: Davis, Presson, Stang, Liles, Schryer, Sork, Chairman Bazil. f C01,11,1ISSIONERS ABSENT: None. 11INUTES: On motion by Davis and seconded by Liles, the Minutes of the Huntington Beach Planning Commission Meeting of Tuesday, June 2nd, 1959, as transcribed and mailed by the Secretary were accepted as -mailed. DIVISION OF L41TD: DV 134 Applicant - Amy D. Grant DIVISION I: The east 63.00 feet of the west 171.00 feet of the east 266.00 feet of Lot 4, Block B, Tract 436. DIVISION II: The west 108 feet of the east 266 feet of Lot 4, Block B, Tract 436. Chairman'Bazil opened the hearing to the audience, there being no comment the hearing was closed. On motion by Stang and seconded by Presson to recommend approval with the following conditions: CURBS AND GUTTERS: The installation of curbs and gutters shall be assured by the posting of a $342.00. surety or cash bond ( or Bank Guarantee ) with the city Treasurer on the basis of $2.00 per running foot. The surety or cash bond ( or Bank Guarantee ) shall be redeemed if the applicant constructs curbs and gutters along the frontage of his lots according to City standards within the specified period. The surety or cash bond ( or Bank 170 Page #2 Minutes - H. B. Planning Commission Tuesday, June 16th, 1959 Guarantee ) shall be forfeited and the City Engineer shall order the required construction accomplished at no additional expenses to the applicant, in the event the curbs and gutters are not constructed within 120 days after the City Engineer has officially notified the applicant of established grades and elevations. This condition shall become null and void in the event the City Engineer has not provided established grades and elevations within 24 months of approval. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Davis, Presson, Stang, Liles, Schryer, Sork, Chairman Bazil. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. THE MOTION CARRIED. Study'session was held on the following outline. A. Present legal status of Subdivision Ordinance. B. Present legal status of Interim County Zoning Ordinance. C. Analysis of problem: The Combining of the two specific zoning areas. D.
