Monday, December 28, 1959
Pursuant to adjournment of the City
Council meeting held on December 21, 1959, kayoor Irby called
the regular adjourned meeting to order at 6:00 o'clock P.,M.
Councilmen Present: Lambert, 5ork, Waite, Irby.
Councilmen Absent: Terry.
Public Hearing Mayor.lrby_.opened the public hearing

at 6:02 P.M. on the intention to
vacate a portion of a street in accordance with Resolution No.
1401 and requested the Clerk to read the notice of Public
Hearing.
The Clerk read the legal notice
published in the Huntington Beach News on December 10, 1959
setting a hearing for 6:00 o'clock P.M., giving.notice that
a public hearing will be held at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on December
28th, 1959 on the proposed vacation of a portion of the street
lying adjacent to and along.the northerly portion of the street
componly known by the names of Coast Boulevard, Pacific.Coast
Highway and Ocean Avenue.
The Clerk read the affidavit of
Posting notice of Vacation of portion of street as filed with
the City Clerk.
The Clerk reported that no verbal or
written statements had been filed with the City Clerk for or
against the proposed vacation.
Mayor Irby asked if anyone present
wished to make any protest.
There -being no response Mayor Irby
declared the hearing closed.

Waite Resolution No. 1404 was passed
. and adopted by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Sork, Lambert, Waite, Irby.
NOES: Cduncilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen: Terry.
Tract Man No.�..1813 The Clerk read'the transmittal from
the Planning Commission presenting the final Tract -map No.
1813 and having been certified by the City Engineer and the
Planning Director to be true and correct in accordance with
the approved tentative tract map and in accordance with all
provisions of the City Subdivision Code.
'Tract Map No. 1813 - On motion by Waite seconded by Sork
final tract map No.-1813, be approved
subject to the filing of the required agreement,bonds and
fees and approval of same by the City Council, prior to
the City Clerk placing his signature on the certificate for
said final tract map. Motion carried.
Tract Mao No. 3573 The Clerk read the transmittal
from the Planning Commission presenting the final tract
map Ne. 3573 and having been -certified by the City Engineer
and the Planning Director to be true and correct in accord-
ance with the approved tentative -tract map and in accordance
with all provisions of the City Subdivision Code.
Tract M.ap No. 3573 - On motion by Sork seconded by
AUproyd
Lambert final tract map No. 3573,
be approved -subject to the filing of the required agreement,
bonds and fees and approval of same by the CityCouncil
prior to the City,Clerk placing his signature on the certi-
ficate for said final tract map. Motion carried.
Purchasing Agent to on motion by Waite seconded by
purchase 3 Dodge Dart
Police Cars � . �.— Lambert the City Purchasing Agent
be instructed to purchase the three Dodge Dart -Police
Special Automobiles in accordance with the lowest and best
bid submitted by bidders in accordance with specification

requirements of the City and said bid in the amount of
$6,427.55 excluding State and Local Sales Taxes, be approved.
Motion carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Sork, Lambert, Waite, Irby.
NOES: Councilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen: Terry.
Bus. Lic. Autoette On motion by Waite seconded by
Sa e & Service
Lambert the application for business
license applied for by Autoette Saxes and Service located
at 301 - 5th Street be granted subject to immediate compliance
with all City Ordinance Codes with exception of the struct-
ural improvement that must be complied with within one year.
Motion carried.
City reimburse On motion by Lambert seconded by
W. Or. Co. Wtr. Bd.
Re: Water Main_Svs.tem Waite in accordance with the request
of the West Orange County Water Board the.City Clerk be instructed
to reimburse the West Orange County Water Board Fund from the
General Fund the amount of $654.05 that was spent for the
City in the operation of the.Water Main System during the
Months of October and November, 1959. Motion carried.
On motion by Waite seconded by
Sork the meeting adjourned.
