Friday, April 15, 1960
Pursuant to the adjournment of the
regular adjourned meeting of April 11, 1960, Mayor Irby called
the regular adjourned meeting to order at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Councilmen Present: Lambert, Irby.
Councilmen Absent: Sork, Terry, Waite. (Councilman Terry
arrived at 7:35 o'clock P.M.)
Recess For lack of a quorum Mayor Irby
ordered a recess.
Councilman Terry arrived at 7:35
o'clock P.M.
Reconvened The Council reconvened at 7:35 o'clock
P.M.
1E rry - Finance Comm. In the absence of Councilman Waite
Mayor Irby appointed Councilman Terry to act on the Finance
Committee.
Bids - Harry Overmyer Mayor Irby announced that the bids
Memorial "ater Reservoir
�� for the construction of the Harry
Overmyer Memorial Water Reservoir and received would be 'opened
at this time in accordance with the time and date as per notice
of bids an&instructed the Clerk to open the bids.
The Clerk opened and read the bids
which were tabulated as follows:

to the City Engineer and Administrative Officer for study and
report.
Termination - :trilling On motion by Terry seconded by Lambert

Inc_._ __ the request of Texaco Inc., for termin-
ation of the Travelers Indemnity Co. drilling bond No. T-417 for
well A. W. Brown No. 141, located South of Quincy Street and West
of Beach Boulevard having complied with section 2427.3 of the
Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, be approved. Motion carried.
