Nayor Gisler called the regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach to oreer at
7 : 30 o'clock P.1M.
The Pledge of Allegiance was given by
all present in the Council Chamber.
The Invocation was given by Reverend
Gayland Anderson of the Wesleyan lelethodist Church.
Councilmen Present: Wells, Lambert, Stewart, Waite, Gisler
Councilmen Absent: None
of Reports of the City Treasurer, Collector,
Building Director, Engineer, Fire Chief,
Lifeguard Chief, Recreation Director and Parking Lot Manager,
were presented by the Clerk.

a petition signed by thirty four property owners in the area of
Delaware Street and the various intersecting streets, requesting
that the. Council Tr.ake a study of the situation of increasee
traffic and speee on Delaware Lvenue, was read by the Clerk. Mr.
Brown in his communication presented the problems involved in that
area, and also three possible steps in a solution to the problem,
for Council consideration.
