Home My WebLink About1961-11-22991 MINUTES Council Chambers, City Hall Huntington Beach, California Wednesday, November 22, 1961 The regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach was called to order at 8:00 o'clock A.M. by Mayor Ernest Gisler. The Pledge of Allegiance was given by all present in the Council Chamber. Councilmen Present; Wells, Lambert,.Stewart, Gisler Councilmen Absent: Waite Bid Award - Assess. Mayor Gisler informed the Council that the Dist. No. 6101 matter of awarding the bid in the Warner Avenue Improvement District - Assessment District No. 6101, was to be considered by the Council, and requested the City Engineer to report on this matter. Dakovich & Kral - City Engineer Wheeler informed the Council Low Bid in Order-. that the low bid of Dakovich and Kral Company, P.O. Box 835, Pico Rivera, in a total amount of �42,539.80,1 appeared to be in order. Mr. Wheeler stated that the notorization had been completed and approved by the City Attorney, and.recom- mended that the bid be awarded to Dakovich and Kral Company. Recomm. Accepted On motion by Wells, seconded by Stewart, Council accepted the recommendation of the City Engineer in the matter of the Warner Avenue Improvement Dist- rict - Assessment District No. 6101, and directed the Clerk to read Resolution #1542. Motion carried. Reso . LR542 The Clerk read Resolution #1542 - "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AWARDING CONTRACT IN THE WARNER AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 6101." -1- (11-22-61) 100 Page #2 _ Minutes, November 22, 1961 Reso. #1542 - On motion by Lambert, seconded by Wells, Adoptee Resolution #1542 was passed and adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen: Wells, Lambert, Stewart, Gisler NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: Waite Meeting Adjourned On motion by Lambert, seconded by Wells, the regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, adjourned.
