Wednesday, January 2, 1963
Mayor Lambert called the Special Adjourned
Meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach to
order at 8:00 o'clock A.M. This meeting was adjourned from the
Special Meeting of December 27, 1962, due to the lack of a quorum.
Councilmen Present:
Wells, Gisler, Stewart, Welch, Lambert
Councilmen Absent:
None

Mayor Lambert stated that this meeting had
Zone Change
been called for the purpose of considering
a Resolution opposing any zone change in
the vicinity of the E1
Toro Maxine Corps Air Station which would
necessitate a change in
the flight patterns of that air station.

The Clerk read Resolution No. 1695, "A
Read
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH OPPOSING ANY ZONE CHANGE
IN THE VICINITY OF EL TORO MARINE CORPS AIR STATION WHICH WOULD
NECESSITATE A CHANGE IN
THE FLIGHT PATTERNS OF THAT AIR STATION."

A motion was made by Stewart, seconded by
Motion Failed
Lambert, that Resolution No. 1695 be
passed and adopted. The motion failed by
the following roll call
vote:

NOES: Councilmen:
Wells, Gisler, Welch
ABSENT: Councilmen:
None
Motion A motion was made by Wells that the meeting
To Adjourn adjourn.
Meeting Mayor Lambert announced that the purpose

called had been fulfilled, and declared the
Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
adjourned.
