Allen, Attorney on behalf of his client George ge S. Wilson, appealing the denial by the Huntington Bench Planning Commission of Zone Case No. 497. On motion by Stewart, seconded by Lambert, Council ordered a public hearing for January 1_8, 1.965, at 7 o 0 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible, and directed the Clerk to -publish notice of same. Wilson and nine other property owners, protesting the issuance of a permit to move in i°our° and five year old four room houses at 17542 Jeffer- son Street, to dames Montgomery and Robert Stel.lrecht. Mr. Floyd Whitten, 8231 Michael Drive, City, addressed the Council to make an inquiry regarding the Code requirements. Broo hurst Street, and requesting Council to study the matter in the best interest of the Ci Y, due to existing soil problems in the area. Mr. Wheeler stated that a copy of Mrs Marks' analysis would be mailed this week, In view of the reports submitted, Mr. Wheeler reversed hi.s recommendation to barricade Terry Drive. and recommended that Terry,. Fire Chief Higgins informed the Council that his recommendation was the same as it was two y6ars ago, that Terry Drive should remain aspen to through traffic to facilitate movement of fire and safety equipment, n motion by Lambert, second d. y Gisler, Council concurred with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works, and directed that Terry Drive be kept open.
