The'. ,Chairman., suggested, tbat-sucb a,,; study -should- ,be, prepared once a ,route -is adopted by the Highway -,,.Commission. DISCUSSION - Master Plan Study .of_.,tbe,Warner. Avenue-- Algonquin DISCUSS- , Street Vicinity - 6/29/65 history of the events that have taken place in this area and the reason for reconsidering the plan. Mr. Harlow reviewed various maps of the area showing zoning, existing land use, Master Plan of Land Use and two proposals entitled "Al' and "B", After considerable discussion of the proposals, it was the consensus,of the Commission to set Proposal "A" for a public hearing. A MOTION WAS MADE BY CRABB AND SECONDED BY BAZIL TO SET.PROPOSAL "A"' FOR PUBLIC HEARING. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Crabb,,Lawsdn, Bazil, Kaufman, Worthy, Larkin, NOES: None, ABSENT: Miller, THE MOTION CARRIED. DISCUSSION - Capital Improvements Program The Secretary summarized a report on the Capitol Improvements Program and explained that the totals.did not include the. Water or Lifeguard Departments, Discussion followed regarding bond proposals. It was the consensus of the Commission that a study session should be held when more imformation is available and after the Capital Improvements Program is put into final form, MISCELLANEOUS: Sam, Furgeson, Asst. Director of Building and Safety, informed the Commission that the Board of Appeals., had determined that removable storm windows not exceeding 24" in width could be installed around a patio and not interfere with requirements for light and ventelation6 He stated that the material mu9t be noncombustable and that such an enclosure would provide for a more usable patio, He pointed out that this provision was in conflict with the present City requirements for patio enclosures. After discussion by the Commission it wad decided that a change in the ordinance might be in order and suggested that the Building Department submit a proposal for their consideration„ THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS, -2- 6/29/65 A MOTION WAS MADE BY BAZIL'AND SECONDED BY CRABB TO ADJOURN, d, 4�2,4-1 11,6� K.
