BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: None. AREA VARIANCE NO. 65-54 Applicant: Roland W. Simms To allow the replacement and construction of a sign in deviation to the maximum 2 sq. ft. in the R-1 Single Family Residence District. Located on the northeast corner of Warner Avenue and Graham Street. Legally described as the SA of the SW4 of the SE4 of Section 21-5-11. Further legal description on file in the Planning Department Office. The hearing was opened to the audience. John Mandrell asked if the sign could be moved back an additional 15 ft. due to the eventual street widening of Warner Avenue. Herbert Day stated that a minimum ground clearance of 10 ft. would have to be maintained. There being no further comment, the hearing was closed. The Board discussed the matter with the applicant. A MOTION WAS MADE BY HARLOW AND SECONDED BY MANDRELL TO APPROVE AV NO. 65-54 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1. The posts shall be setback 60 ft. from the center line of Warner Avenue. 2. Any encroachment of the sign face into the ultimate R/W shall comply with all Building Department Standards. ROLL CALL VOTE:_ AYES: Mandrell, Day, Harlow. NOES: None. .. ABSENT: None.
