The Minutas of the Board of Zoning
Adjustments of June 15, 1966 were
accepted as transcribed.
DIVISION OF LAND NO 66-15 To allow a division of land
Applicant - Union Oil Company into two separate parcels
located at the southeast
corner of Stark Street and Beach Boulevard. Legally described
as a portion of the north one-half of the northwest A of
Section 34-5-11. Further Legal description on file in the
Planning Department Office.
The hearing was opened to the
audience.
Mr. Louis Weir, representing the
applicant, explained the reasons for the request.
Mr. Richard Harlow, Secretary,
stated that a division of land, Division of Land 232, has
been filed separating the property involved in this applica-
tion from an 80 acre parcel of land.
John Mandrell recommended that all
conditions of approval for Division of Land No. 232 be complied
with.
There being no other comment, the
hearing was closed.
Board discussion followed.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY HARLOW AND
SECONDED BY DAY TO APPROVE DIVISION OF LAND NO. 66-16
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. A Parcel Map shall be filed with the City and recorded.
2. All conditions of approval for Division of Land No. 232
shall be complied with.
3. Parcel #2 shall be made a part of parcel # 3.

AYES: DAY, HARLOW, MANDRELL
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
THE MOTION CARRIED.
USE PERMIT NO. 66-18 To permit a home occupation
Applicant - Alfred Hetzmaneder for the purpose of conducting
a Mail Order, Import and Export
Business with no direct public contact. Located at 5772
Edinger Avenue and legally described as Lot 2 of Tract 3643.
The hearing was opened to the
audience, there being no comment the hearing was closed.

It was noted that the applicant would be required to comply

A MOTION WAS MADE BY HARLOW
AND SECONDED BY DAY TO APPROVE USE PERMIT NO. 66-18.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
AYES: DAY, HARLOW, MANDRELL.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
THE MOTION CARRIED.
AREA VARIANCE NO. 66-39 To allow a 6' high block
Applicant - Richard T. Kumashiro wall to be constructed 12'
from the front property
line in deviation to the required 15' front yard setback
located at 16721 Phelps Lane and legally described as Lot
261 of Tract No. 5360.
The hearing was opened to the
audience, there being no comment, the hearing was closed.
Board discussion followed.
It was the consensus to continue the hearing to June 29, 1966
in order to investigate the property.

AND SECONDED BY DAY TO CONTINUE AREA VARIANCE NO. 66-39
TO JUNE 29, 1966, MEETING.
