BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: John Mandrell, Herbert Day,
Richard Harlow.
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the June 22, 1966
meeting were acceptecl as transcribed.
USE PERMIT NO. 66-20 To permit a home occupation
Applicant: Joy D. Crilly for the purpose of
conducting a poodle
service in the R-1 Single Family Residence District.
Located on the east side of Elmhurst Ci.rclb, approxi-
mately 110 feet north of Briacliff Drive. Legally
described as Lot 8, Tract No. 4877.
The hearing was opened
to the audience.
Joy D. Crilly, applicant,
explained her reasons for the request, and answered
various questions asked by the Board.
Herbert Day asked the
applicant if she will discontinue this service in her
house when she opens a shop.
Mrs. Crilly stated that
she would move her entire business to her shop when the
building is completed, which will be within the next
few months.
Mrs. Crilly was asked
if she was aware of the requirements of the ordinance
regulating home occupations and if she would be able to
conform to them.
The applicant stated
that she would be able to conform to the ordinance.
Further board discus -
sion followed.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY
DAY AND SECONDED BY MANDRELL TO APPROVE USE PERMIT
NO. 66-20 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. There shall be no more than 5 dogs on the premises
at one time.
2. Us-e Permit No. 66-20 shall be null and void January 1,
1967.
3. The applicant shall comply with the ordinance -
regulating home occupations. i
ROLL CALL VOTE:
AYES: Mandrell, Day, Harlow. ABSENT: None.
NOES: None. THE MOTION CARRIED.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER
BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD A MOTION WAS MADE BY
HARLO D SECONDED B MANDRELL TO ADJOURN.
