BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: None. MINUTES: The Minutes of the Board of Zoning Adjustments Meeting of. October 5 and 12 were accepted as transcribed. AREA VARIANCE NO. 66-69 Applicant: Russell Carefoot To allow a sunshade structure to encroach into the required 900 sq. ft. of open space in the rear yard area. Located on the west side of Sherbeck Lane, 130 feet south of Shannon Drive. Legally described as Lot 3 of Tract 4138. Betty Hamentry, representing the applicant failed to comply with the plans of the original building permit. It was noted by the Board that the applicant failed to comply with the plans of the original building permit. There being no other comment, the hearing was closed to the audience. Board discussion followed. A MOTION WAS MADE BY HARLOW AND SECONDED BY FERGUSON TO DENY AREA VARIANCE NO. 66-69 FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1. If the applicant had built the patio as shown on building permit, it would comply with the Code. 2. The applicant can redesign the patio to comply to the ordinance. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Mandrell, Ferguson, Harlow. NOES: None ABSENT: None THE MOTION CARRIED. AREA VARIANCE NO. 66-70 Applicant: R. M. Galloway & Assoc. To allow the relocation of a street and a minor adjustment of the width and area of lots on the northwest corner of Bushard Street and Hamilton Avenue. Legally described as a portion of the SE-1- of the NW4 of Section 18-6-10. There was no one present to speak for or against the matter. 10/19/66 Page No. 2 Minutes: Board of Zoning Adjustments Wednesday, October 19, 1966 John Mandrell stated that the appli- cation was prompted by'a request of the Department of Public. Works to protect a storm drain easement and to relocate the entrance street to the subdivision to allow for a better intersection with the street across Hamilton Avenue. Board discussion followed. A MOTION WAS MADE BY FERGUSON AND SECONDED BY MANDRELL TO APPROVE AREA VARIANOE NO. 66-70 FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED REASONS: ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Mandrell, Harlow, Ferguson. NOES: None. ABSENT: None.
