The Pledge of Allegiance was given.by all.present in the Council Chamber. P nT.T. r.ATJ. Councilmen Present: Coen, Bartlett, Gisler, Kaufman, Green, Stewart (Shipley arrived at 8:OO P.M.) Councilmen Absent: None 70 ORDINANCE NO 1311 — FIRST READING - POOL HALLS The Clerk gave Ordinance No. 1311 a first reading by title - "AN ORDINANCE OF'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO POOL AND BILLIARD HALLS; AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTIONS OF ARTICLE 533." On motion by Kaufman, Council waived further reading of Ordinance No. 1311. When put to a vote the motion passed unanimously. Mayor Stewart called a meeting of the Council As an informal Committee - of -the -Whole for 7:45 P.M. this date, in the Council Chamber, and recessed the meeting. The meeting was reconvened at 9:35 P.M. by the Mayor. On motion by Kaufman, Council requested the Architectural Review Board and the City Planning Department to revise their rules for procedure, incorporating therein the ideas which had been discussed at the informal meeting, and present same to Council for approval. Motion carried. On motion by Kaufman, the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach adjourned. Motion carried.
