use in 'bract 606 ; authorized the release of Improvement and Monument
Bands and termination of the Subdivision agreement, and directed that
the developer he notified by the City Clerk and the bonding company he
notified by the City Treasurer. Motion carried.

Division. of Highways, and authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to execute

REIMBURSEMENT. - HUNTINGTON HARBOUR
The Clerk presented a transmittal from the Director of Public Works
requesting reimbursement for the construction of offsite sewer and water
rains on Warner -avenue , to Huntington Harbour Corporation, payable from
the Water Fund in the amount of $7$979.49, and the Sewer Fund in the
amount of 4, 749.10, as per ,Reimbursement -Agreement No. 106.
On motion by Bartlett, Council approved the � reimbursement to Huntington
Harbour Corporation for an offsite water main in the amount of 7, 7 ,4 ,
Motion carried.

injuries sustained in a fail on or abut May 19, 1967n
On motion by Bartlett, Council denied the claim filed by Cannen Julia
Marseilles, and referred same to the City Attorney ,and the City'a

The Clerk presented a claim filed by Jones, Jones, Findley and Carlson
on behalf of James Paul Maples for alleged damages to his automobile
on or about April 19, 1967, by a road grader,
. motion by Bartlett, Council denied the claim filed by Jones, Jones,
Findley, and Carlson on behalf of James Paul Maples, and referred same
to the City Attorney and the Cit 's Insurance Carrier. Motion carried.
PAVALON LEASEm TRANSFER TO CORPORATION

quested Counci.l's approval for the transfer of the Pavalon lessee from
Stanford Carver, as an individual to the L. R. C. Corporation,.
On motion by Green, Council approved the transfer to the Pavalon

SHERATON BEACH INN - SALE APPROy6LPO'E T
The City Administrator presented a letter from Nawkeye_Development
Co. inc., notifying the City of their purchase of the Sheraton
Beach Inn, submitting a typical plot plan of their future plans,
and requesting approval thereof,
On motion by Kaufman, Council tabled indefinitely any decision
concerning the requested approval of the sale of the Sheraton Beach
Inn. Motion. carried,
HUNTINGTON BEACH HIGH SCHOOL - TRAILER 'USE.
The City Administrator presented a request from the ' Huntington Beach
High School to use two trailers for the housing of additional admin-
istrative personnel.
On motion hy. Gisler, Council granted permission to the Huntington
Beach High School for the use of two trailers for the housing of
personnel, subject to the completion of all requirements of the
building department except for the posting of bonds. Motion carried.

The City: Administrator informed the Council of a public hearing to he
held in. Sacramento on June 1i$ 1.9 73 an Senate Bill #876 pertaining
to Park and Recreation fees to bp paid by developers when constructing
their tracts
On motion by Kaufman, Council authorized the City Adminstratar and
any Councilman to attend the public hearing in Sacramento, with reason-
able expenses allowed. Motion carried.

stated that he had received no communications or written protests to
Zone Case No. 67-12.

COMPLAINT,
Mrs. Pauline Barlow, addressed the City Council, to protest the
"flower children" and the image they are creating along our, beach
front. She stated that she considered them a nuisance when one
had to step over them as they lay stretched across out downtown
sidewalks,
Captain Mays, representing the Police Department, reported on
€ rdinances which would help alleviate the situation,
