Statement of the-Plan-ing,Commission evolved ifor tentative tract
maps.
John Mandrell, Department of
Public Works, explained the street sections used on the new
developments` and the .need for the -I8 inch wide utility easement.
Discussion was -held regarding the need for the 18" wide utility
easement and.whether or not -the R/4d should be -increased to in-
corporate the-easament'.
A lengthy discussion was held
by the Commission regarding the possibility of incorporating the

THE MOTION CARRIED.
DISCUSSION: �O FT. SETBACK The Acting Secretary distributed
a list indicating- the, type of
items stored outside of buildings in the commercial zones. He
also reviewed a display depicting minimum angles needed to view
property while traveling along a highway. It wasnbted_that
structures could be located within the area fotted-by these
angles and still maintain adequate visibility of adjacent property.
A lengthy discussion was held by
-the Commission pertaining to the.placement of structures and the
display merchandise outside of buildings4,etc.
It was the consensus of the
Commission to continue the.discuspion to a later date in order
to obtain more ideas.
