National Bank Building Huntington Beach, California Wednesday, February 14, 1968 BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: John Mandrell, Sam Ferguson, Richard Harlow. BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: None. DIVISION OF LAND NO. 67-29 Applicant: Robert Stellrecht To allow a division of land into 5 separate parcels located on the northeast corner of "B",Street and Blaylock Drive. Legal description on file in the Planning Department Office. The proposed division of land was discussed and reviewed by the Board members. A MOTION WAS MADE BY MANDRELL AND SECONDED BY FERGUSON TO APPROVE DIVISION OF LAND NO. 67-29 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1. All street improvements shall meet City Standards. 2. A parcel map shall be filed with the City and recorded. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Mandrell, Ferguson, Harlow. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. THE MOTION CARRIED. AREA VARIANCE NO. 67-73 Applicant: Beach Mobile Home To allow storage and/or display of trailers within the front 50 ft. setback area in the C-4 Highway Commercial District. Located on the southwest corner of Beach Boulevard and Clay Street. Legal description on file in the Planning Department Office. The hearing was opened to the audience; there being no one present to speak for or against the matter, the hearing was closed. by the Board. The proposed request was reviewed A MOTION WAS MADE BY MANDRELL AND SECONDED BY FERGUSON TO APPROVE AREA VARIANCE NO. 67-73 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: 1. The applicant shall comply to the setback ordinance with the exception of the storage area delineated on Exhibit "A" on file in the Planning Department Office. Board of Zoning Adjustments Wednesday, February 14, 1968 COMMUNICATION: The Chairman read a communication submitted by the Orange County Planning Commission regarding County Variance No. 6024, which would permit the construction of a single family dwelling with attached garage having less than the required width in the R-4 "Suburban Residential District - the proposed garage will be a minimum of 19 ft. in width instead of the required 20 ft. The Board reviewed the matter. A MOTION WAS MADE BY MANDRELL AND SECONDED BY FERGUSON TO INSTRUCT THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT TO WRITE A LETTER TO THE ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RECOM- MENDING THAT USE VARIANCE NO. 6024 COMPLY WITH THE STAND- ARDS RECOMMENDED IN THE SUNSET BEACH-SURFSIDE STUDY AND ALSO TO ALLOW THE GARAGE TO BE 19' IN WIDTH.
