DIVISION OF LAND NO. 68-13 - Continued Applicant: Springdale Shores Realty To allow a division of land into two separate parcels located north of Bolsa Avenue, 150 feet east of Springdale Street. Legal description on file in the Planning Department. A MOTION WAS MADE BY HARLOW AND SECONDED BY FERGUSON TO CONTINUE DIVISION OF LAND NO. 68-13 TO MAY 8, 1968 AT THE REQUEST OF THE APPLICANT. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Mandrell, Ferguson, Harlow NOES: None ABSENT: None THE MOTION CARRIED. DIVISION OF LAND NO. 68-14 Applicant: Joe B. Scott To allow a division of land into two separate parcels located on the west side of Lynn Street, approximately 792 ft. north of Warner Avenue. Legal description on file in be Planning Department Office. The hearing was opened to the audience. Joe Scott, applicant, addressed the Board and answered various questions. There being no further comment, the hearing was closed to the audience. Board discussion followed. A MOTION WAS MADE BY MANDRELL AND SECONDED BY HARLOW TO APPROVE DIVISION OF LAND NO. 68-14 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1. Lynn St. and Blanton St. shall be dedicated and fully improved to City Standards at the time each parcel is developed. Improvements shall include street trees, street signs, street lights and fire hydrants. 2. Water supply shall be through the City of Huntington Beach's water system at the time each parcel is developed. 3. Sewage disposal shall be through the City of Huntington Beach's sewage system at the time each parcel is developed. 4. The water, sewer, and fire hydrant system shall be approved by the Department of Public Works and Fire Department. 5. The Division of Land shall not be effective until an agreement is signed and recorded agreeing to the conditions listed above. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Mandrell, Ferguson, Harlow NOES: None ABSENT: None THE MOTION CARRIED. COMMUNICATION: County Variance No. 6069 The Chairman read a communication submitted by the Orange County Planning Department regarding the above variance. The Board reviewed the variance. A MOTION WAS MADE BY HARLOW AND SECONDED BY FERGUSON TO INSTRUCT THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT TO WRITE A LETTER TO THE ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDING THAT USE VARIANCE NO. 6069 COMPLY WITH THE STANDARDS RECOMMENDED BY THE SUNSET-BEACH-SURFSIDE STUDY.
