To permit the construction of 298 apartment complex in the proposed R3 Limited Multiple Family Residence District. Located on the south side of Warner Ave. 1320 ft. west of Goldenwest St. Legal description on file in the Planning Department Office. In Conjunction CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 68-72 Applicant: P R C Development Corp. To permit the construction of car- ports at 110" setback within a 298 unit apartment complex. Located on the south side of Warner Ave. 1320 ft. west of Goldenwest St. Legal description on file in the Planning Department. The hearing was opened to the audience. The Acting Secretary read a letter from the applicant requesting these two items be continued until the January 22, 1969, meeting. There being no further comment, the hearing was closed. A MOTION WAS MADE BY PALIN AND SECONDED BY COOK TO CONTINUE CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 68-72 AND USE PERMIT NO. 68-51 TO JANUARY 22, 1969, AT THE REQUEST OF THE APPLICANT. CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 68-75 Applicant: Byron Lasky Company To permit wing walls and boat storage yard walls to extend to side property line to a height of 7 ft. 6 in. at property line in lieu of the maximum 6 ft. height. The hearing was opened to the audience. There being no one present to represent the applicant, the hearing was closed. Board discussion followed. A MOTION WAS MADE BY MCFARLAND AND SECONDED BY PALIN TO APPROVE CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 68-75 FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON: 1. To permit the construction of 9 detached covered carports at 110" setback in lieu of the required 5 ft. setback within Tract No. 5555. Located on the south side of Ma- riner Drive. Mariner Drive intersects Pacific Coast Highway at the western end. Eastern dead-end of Mariner Drive, a private street, is approximately 1080 ft. from Pacific Coast Highway. Legal description on file in the Planning Department Office. PLOT PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 68-10 Applicant: Huntington Marina Assoc. The carports should be constructed to Building Department Standards, for the following reason: 1. To afford each owner within such development one covered carport. A MOTION WAS MADE BY MCFARLAND AND SECONDED BY COOK TO APPROVE PLOT PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 68-10 WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1. A 10 ft. front yard setback on the carports constructed on the south of and adjacent to the entrance of driveway. 2. To provide a minimum 40 ft. clear width from curb to curb at the drive intersection with Coast Highway. 3. All applicable city ordinances shall be complied with. 4. Located on the northwest corner of Beach Blvd. and Stark St., Huntington Beach. Legal description is on file in the Planning Department Office. Board discussion was held. A MOTION WAS MADE BY MCFARLAND AND SECONDED BY PALIN TO APPROVE DIVISION OF LAND NO. 68-53 WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: 1. A parcel map shall be filed with the City and recorded.
