USE PERMIT NO. 69-54
Applicant: General Restaurant Corp.
To permit the construction of a res-
taurant in the C4 Highway Commercial District. Located on
the northwest corner of Beach Blvd. and Ronald Rd. A legal
description is on file in the Planning Department Office.
The hearing was opened to the audience.
The applicant was not present. Mr.
Allen Klingensmith, adjacent property owner, addressed the
Board and requested that conditions be added to the require-
ments for the reasons: 1) The prevailing wind is from the
west and there is a wire fence around the property. Paper
drifts and collects at the fence. He requests that a wall
be built to avoid this problem. 2) He feels the traffic
would circulate onto his property without this separation
wall.
It was noted by the Acting Secretary
that a masonry wall was required between commercial property
and property zoned or used for residential purposes, but not
between commercial uses.
There being no further comment, the
hearing was closed.
Board discussion followed.
Mr. White, representing the applicant,
arrived.
