MINORITY REPORT: Commissioner Duke stated that he was of
the opinion that the parcel should not be divided into C4
and R3 because it is only 4.4 acres in size. In addition,
R2 zoning should be considered rather than R3 because R2
would solve the applicant's problems as well as those of
surrounding property owners.
MEMO FROM PLANNING DEPARTMENT: The Commission reviewed a
memo from the Planning Department regarding densities in
the R1, R2, R3 and R4 zones. The densities were as
follows: Low density, 0-8 units per acre; Medium den-
sity, 8-21 units per acre; Medium High density, 21-35 units
per acre and High density, 35 units and up.
The Acting Secretary informed
the Commission that this memo is primarily for clarification
of various residential zones.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY BAZIL AND
SECONDED BY BOKOR TO ADOPT THE DESIGNATION OF RESIDENTIAL
DENSITY TO BE USED ON THE MASTER PLAN OF LAND USE BY MINUTE
