Referred by City Council
The Acting Secretary
stated that the question before the Planning -Commission is —
whether ' -or not the subject peanut stand being operated from
--.a mobihome unit is permitted in a commercial zone. Mr.
Harlow stated that Section 9730.13 requires that all goods
offered for sale shall be housed in a building, and that it
is the staff's opinion that this type of operation is not
permitted in commercial zones.
It was the consensus
of the Commission that this type of operation may lead to a'
clutter of many different types of vendors and approval of
one would imply approval for all. Also, that the Commission
should maintain their long-standing policy of denying such
,requests. It was the consensus of the Commission that if
