CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 70-51
Applicant: J. H. Eggleston
To permit the construction of a family
room having a rear yard setback of 8 ft. in lieu of the required 10 ft.
and causing a reduction in the required 900 sq. ft. of open space to
690-sq. ft.

the East side of Victoria Lane, approximately 80 ft. north of
McFadden Avenue in the R1 Single Family Residence District.
The Chairman read the request and
opened the hearing to the audience.
Mr. Eggleston, applicant, addressed the
Board and stated that the property which backs onto the subject lot
has a swimming pool and therefore probably would not ask for an
additional setback.
The Acting Secretary reviewed the
Planning Commission's intent upon adopting the rear yard setback
ordinance.
The applicant stated he felt there
was a hardship due to the configuration of the lot and the placement
of the house on the lot.
Discussion was held regarding the
required open space on the lot.

hearing was closed.
