Mayor McCracken called the regular adjourned meeting of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach to order at 6:20 P.M.
The Pledge of Allegiance was given by all present in the Administrative
Annex.

Councilmen Present: Bartlett, Green, Matney, Coen, McCracken,
Shipley (arrived at 7:00 P.M.)
Councilmen Absent: Gibbs
EXECUTIVE SESSION CALLED
Mayor McCracken called an Executive Session of the Council to discuss
pending litigation.and personnel matters.
RECESS
The Mayor called a recess of the Council at 6:25 P.M.
RECONVENE
The Mayor reconvened the meeting at 7:55 P.M. in the Council Chamber.
RESOLUTIONS
On motion by Matney, Council directed the Clerk to read Resolution Nos.
3340, 3341, 3342 and 3343 by title, waived further reading; and passed
and adopted same by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Shipley, Bartlett, Green, Matney,.Coen, McCracken.
NOES: Councilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen: Gibbs

On motion by Green, Council directed the Clerk to read Resolution Nos.
3344, 3345 and 3346 by title, waived further reading; and passed and
adopted same subject to final approval by the City Attorney, by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen Shipley, Bartlett, Green, Matney, Coen, McCracken
NOES: Councilmen: None

BEACH STIPULATION - HUNTINGTON PACIFIC CORPORATION
A motion was made by Councilman Green to approve stipulation for beach
operation and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to sign same after it is
signed by Huntington Pacific Corporation and its Attorney. The motion
was passed as follows:
AYES: Councilmen: Shipley, Bartlett, Green, Matney, Coen, McCracken
NOES: Councilmen: None

PAYMENT FOR LIFEGUARD SERVICES.- HUNTINGTON PACIFIC CORPORATION
A motion was made by Councilman Coen, to direct the City Administrator
to send a bill to the Huntington Pacific Corporation and all responsible
parties for lifeguard and clean-up services rendered by the City .on
the Huntington Pacific Corporation property for 1970-71, through the
date of the execution of the beach stipulation which was approved by
Council this date. The motion was passed by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Shipley, Bartlett, Green, Matney, Coen,
N()ES: Councilmen: McCracken
ABSENT: Councilmen: Gibbs
EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS COMMENDED
Councilman Green commended members of Council and the various employee
organizations for the manner in which accord was reached in approving
and implementing the Memorandums of Agreement.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion by Bartlett, the regular adjourned meeting of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach adjourned at 8:05 P.M. Motion carried.
