BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Lipps, Spencer, Palin
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: None
DIVISION OF LAND NO. 71-32
Applicant: Pizza Hut
To divide a legal parcel of land into
three separate parcels. The subject property is located on
the east side of Beach Blvd., northeast corner of Holland St.
in the C4 Highway Commercial District.
Dave Kirchner, representing the applicant,
addressed the Board and explained the request.
It was noted by the Board that the
use permit on this parcel expires January 13, 1972. The Board
would require a complete plan for the total parcel prior to
any action on a Division of Land application.
Board discussion followed.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY PALIN AND SECONDED
BY SPENCER TO CONTINUE DIVISION OF LAND NO. 71-32 TO
JANUARY 12, 1972 TO ALLOW TIME FOR THE APPLICANT TO INCORPORATE
THE ADDITIONAL AREA WITHIN HIS PLOT PLAN AND TO FILE A USE
PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE USE.

THE MOTION CARRIED.
MISCELLANEOUS:
USE PERMIT NO. 71-59 - Reconsideration
Applicant: Atlantic Engineering, Inc.
To permit modernization of an existing
station. The subject property is located at the northwest
corner of Beach Blvd. and Edinger Ave. in the C2 Community
Business District.
It was noted by the Board that the
applicant had agreed to upgrade the service facility and
that the City was studying the need for an additional lane
on Edinger Ave.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY PALIN AND
SECONDED BY SPENCER TO RECONSIDER USE PERMIT NO. 71-59.

THE MOTION CARRIED.

SECONDED BY SPENCER TO CONTINUE ACTION TO FEBRUARY 2, 1972
TO ALLOW TIME FOR THE CITY TO STUDY THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL
RIGHT-OF-WAY ON EDINGER AVE.

on the east side of Bushard St., 660 ft. north of Adams Ave.
The Board reviewed plans for
on -site feature signs.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY LIPPS AND
SECONDED BY SPENCER TO APPROVE THE SIGN PERMIT WITH THE
FOLLOWING CONDITION:
1. Article 976 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code shall
be complied with.
