To permit the operation of a commercial
firewood -sales lot in the C2 Community Business District. The
subject property is located on the west side of Beach Blvd.
approximately 212 ft. north of Utica St.
It was noted by the Acting Secretary
that a letter had been received from the applicant requesting
withdrawal of Use Permit No. 71-62.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY PALIN AND SECONDED
BY SPENCER TO WITHDRAW USE PERMIT NO. 71-62 AT THE REQUEST OF
THE APPLICANT.

To allow the care of three non -related
persons under the provisions of Section 9730.26 of the Huntington
Beach Ordinance Code. The subject property is located approxi-
mately 160 ft. south of Reilly Dr., east of Goshawk In. in

A MOTION WAS MADE BY MCFARLAND AND
SECONDED BY PALIN TO APPROVE ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW NO. 71-87
WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. Section 9730.26 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code
shall be complied with.
2. Approval shall be limited to three non -related charges.
AND FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON:
1. The applicant has provided hgitimate licensing certificate
from the licensing agency.

CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 71-102

To permit the following: Lot 12 - a
minimum dimension of 23 ft. in lieu of the required 25 ft.
on the 900 sq. ft. portion'of open space provided. Lot 55 -
a minimum dimension of 21 ft. in lieu of the required mini-
mum dimension of 25 ft-i for open space. The subject property
is located north of Atlanta Ave., east of Bushard St. in the

stating there was a possibility of locating a different model

Applicant: Signal Oil & Gas Co.
To permit drilling and operating
for the discovery or production of oil, gas, hydrocarbons and/
or kindred substances in their natural state, including the
installation and use of equipment, structures, tools and other
facilities incidental, necessary and accessory to the drilling,
production, repressuring and processing of substances produced
by such wells for shipment to pipeline. The subject property
is located east of 18th St., south of Pacific Coast Highway and
west of 19th St. in the C3 General Business District and C3-0
General Business District combining oil.

the pumping units on all wells within the operation site would
be submergible.
The Board informed Mr. Woods
that the setback of the block wall and landscaping on Pacific
Coast -Highway were insufficient.

JANUARY 12, 1972 TO ALLOW TIME TO CHECK PROPERTY DIMENSIONS
AND PROVIDE MORE LANDSCAPING ALONG PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY.

is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of
Newland St. and Adams Ave.

the applicant, addressed the Board -and explained the request.

SECONDED BY SPENCER TO APPROVE ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW NO.
71-88 WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. A plan delineating wall design, materials and landscaping
shall be submitted and approved prior to issuance of
Certificate of Occupancy.
2. Section 9730.25.4 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code
shall be complied with.
