The Acting Secretary stated that the Environmental Review
Board has tabled this application, and for this reason the
Board of Zoning Adjustments could not legally act on the

Code located on the west side of Computer Lane approximately
235 ft. north of Research Drive in a 100-Ml-2,000 District.
Mr. Nielson, applicant, and Mr. Beaver, his representative,
were present and addressed the Board. Mr. Nielson stated that
he presently has five employees and that the major portion
of the building will be used for storage of dried products.
The revised plans were discussed. Suggested conditions of
approval were discussed.

Mrs. Linda Thomas, applicant, was present. The Chairman
stated that the two oil wells adjacent to the property would
have no significant effect on the property. Landscaping
and parking were discussed. The recommended conditions of
approval were discussed with the applicant. The Acting
'Secretary stated that plans should indicate where the driveway
will be and the dimensions from the'property line.

The Chairman opened the hearing to the public.
Mr. Gary Gardner, representing the applicant, was present.
Plans were discussed and it was the consensus of.the Board that
the location of the window should be changed to preclude traffic
congestion. The applicant requested that the window be located
on the west side of the building which was agreeable to the Board.
The Acting Secretary stated that the application was exempt by
the Environmental Review Board. Signing was discussed. The
Acting Secretary stated that color theme should be compatible
with existing signing in the center. Applicant stated that
colors would be white background with brown letters.
The hearing was closed to the public.

To permit a 200 sq..ft. addition to an existing restaurant
building pursuant to S. 9430 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance
Code located on the south side of Stark St. approximately
150 ft. east of Beach in a C2 community business district.
Mr. Yamamoto, representing the architect, was present.
The Acting Secretary stated that the application was exempt
from Environmental Review Board requirements. The Board dis-
cussed with Mr. Yamamoto the conditions of approval.
