Mayor Gibbs called the adjourned regular meeting of the City Council to order at
7:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Bartlett, Wieder, Coen, Matney, Gibbs
Duke - {arrived at 7:20 P.M.}
Absent: Shipley

EXECUTIVE SESSION CALLED
The Mayor called an Executive Session of the Council to discuss pending litigation.
RECESS
Mayor Gibbs called a recess of -the Council at 7:06 P.M.
RECONVENE
The meeting was reconvened at 7:55 P.M. by the Mayor with Councilman Duke in
attendance.
PRESENTATION ARBITRATION PROCEEDINGS
Mr. Thomas Roberts, Attorney at Law, Fact Finder through the American Arbitration
Association, representing the City and Police Associations pursuant to Resolution
3335 of the City of Huntington Beach, addressed Council regarding the nature of
the arbitration proceedings between the Police Association and the City..
CALL EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Gibbs called an Executive Session of the City Council for the purpose of
discussing personnel matters.
RECESS
The Mayor called a recess of Council at 8:10 P.M.

The meeting was reconvened by the Mayor at 9.40 P.M.

ARBITRATORS AWARD - APPROVED - AGREEMENT TO BE PREPARED
A motion was made by Councilman Bartlett to approve Arbitrator's Award and adopt
a memorandum of agreement at the next regular meeting which incorporates the Award
effective July 1� 1975. The motion was passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bartlett, Wieder, Coen, Matney, Duke, Gibbs
NOES: None
ABSENT: Shipley

The meeting was reconvened at 10:00 P.M. by the Mayor.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion by Duke, the adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the ._City
of Huntington Beach adjourned at 10:00 P.M. to Monday, July 7, 1975'at 5.30 P.M.
in the Council Chamber. The motion was passed by the following vote:
AYES: Bartlett, Wieder, Coen, Matney, Duke, Gibbs
NOES: None
ABSENT: Shipley
