Applicant: Kae A. Ewing and B.G. Williams

on the east side of Delaware, approximately 460 feet south of Adams.
I'"
I.
John Cope addressed the -Commission and gave some background, information
on this•request. A vugraph was presented. He noted that the existing
suffix zoning had been requested by the present property owner in Order to
allow the continuation of the Planned Residential Development that
exists to the south. This existing condominium development was ap-
proved by the Planning Commission in October," 19-74. At the time of

Beach Boulevard.
B.'G,. Williams, applicant and purchaser of the property, discussed

feel that apartment dwellers normally showed the pride of ownership
that property owners would show.

received a notice that the property was up for rezoning. Chair-
man Slates explained that the Assessor's Parcel books are updated
annually only and are not always up to date. He stated that he
had been assured when he bought in the La Cuesta development that
the property in back would be developed as a planned development
also.
Anthony J. Decero, property owner at La Cuesta Racquet Club, stated
that he was very much opposed to apartments.
Grace Fick, a -resident of the Racquet Club, was opposed to apart-
ment development.

tended to decrease in value.
The public hearing was closed.
