MINUTES
Meeting of September 30, 1981
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Huntington
Beach Public Facilities Corporation was called to order by President
Sapp at the Huntington Beach City Corporation Yard, Huntington Beach,
California at 3:05 P.M. on September 30, 1981.
There were present from the Board:
Houseal Sapp Wamhoff Teixeira
Absent from the Board:
Nowlin
Also attending:
D. W. Kiser, Assistant Secretary
Dan Villella, Financial Operations Administrator
The meeting was called to order by President Sapp. Roll call
was taken as recorded above. The July 29, 1981 Minutes (Regular
Meeting) and the September 2, 1981 (Special Meeting) Minutes were
approved as presented.
After discussion, motion was made and seconded to approve the
July and August 1981 Treasurer's Reports. The motion carried.
The audited financial statements were presented to the Board by
Dan Villella.

The next item on the agenda was the Proposed Civic Center
and Central Library Remodeling. Mr. Kiser informed the Board
that the following items have been proposed for remodeling at
the Civic Center:
1. Fifth Floor - Fire Department
2. Fifth Floor Expansion for HCD
3. Civic Center Outside Pools - Out to Bid
4. Data Processing - Additional Air -Conditioning
The following have been proposed for remodeling at the
Central Library:
1. Re -design Inside Pools
2. Construct a Wall in Technical Processing
There was some discussion by the Board regarding the
Police Department parking lot. It was felt by some members of
the Board that the parking lot should be open to the public
during school night functions, such as graduation, ball games,
etc. It was requested that a letter be sent to Chief Robitaille
of the Police Department suggesting that the parking lot be
open to the public during the above times. There being no
motion, the suggestion died.
The meeting was adjourned to the next Regular Meeting of
November 25, 1981.
