BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Evans, Godfrey, Smith STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Hess REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS: CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 86-5 USE PERMIT NO. 86-9 Applicant: City of Huntington Beach A request to permit a zero foot (01) rear yard setback and deletion of a carport space to an existing duplex abutting an arterial highway. (This is a result of the Heil Street widening). Subject property is located at 7882 Alhambra Avenue (South side of Alhambra Avenue approximately five hundred fifty feet (5501) West of Beach Boulevard). This request is covered by Categorical Exemption, Class 3, California Environmental Quality Act, 1984. Staff indicated these applications had been continued from the March 5, 1986, regular Board of Zoning Adjustments Meeting. The main concern of the project was the replacement of the deleted carport. It was concluded that a carport with a gate could be provided adjacent to the existing garage with access off Alhambra Avenue. UPON MOTION BY GODFREY AND SECOND BY SMITH, CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 86-5 AND USE PERMIT NO. 86-9 WERE CONTINUED TO THE REGULAR MEETING ON MARCH 12, 1986, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: H. B. Board of Zoning Adjustments March 10, 1986 Page Two AYES: Evans, Godfrey, Smith NOES: None ABSENT: Poe, Krejci There was no further business to be discussed which had been continued to the Adjourned Study Session.
