MINUTES: The Minutes of the May 16, 1990 Zoning
Administrator Meeting were continued to the
meeting of June 6, 1990.
REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS:
ITEM 1: CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 90-10
APPLICANT: Robert L. Corona
REQUEST: To permit the construction of a six (6) unit
apartment building at a zero (0) interior
sideyard setback with a conditional exception
(variance) to permit a 20'-0" minimum turning
radius in lieu of the code required turning
radius of 25'-0".
LOCATION:
7851 Holt Street.
Herb Fauland, Staff Planner, reported that the request was continued
from the May 16, 1990 Zoning Administrator meeting to allow the
applicant additional time to obtain authorization from the property
owner. Staff reported that the authorization had not been obtained
since the property owner was unwilling to sell the property to the
applicant. Therefore, staff requested the application be withdrawn.
THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED.
Bob Corona, the applicant, stated that the property owner had
decided not to sell the property for personal reasons. He requested
that the application be withdrawn.
Katherine Murray, adjacent property owner, was present and said that
she understood that the property owner was interested in selling the
property but was unaware that the property owner had changed their
mind.
There were no other persons present to speak for or against the
request.
CONDITIONAL EXCEPTION NO. 90-10 WAS ACCEPTED AS WITHDRAWN PURSUANT
TO THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST BY THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR.
ITEM 2: USE PERMIT NO, 90-27
APPLICANT: Oshman's Sporting Goods
REQUEST: Temporary Outdoor Event to permit Oshman's
Sporting Goods three (3) day camping
extravaganza on June 8, 9, & 10, 1990.
LOCATION: 15021 Goldenwest Street
Herb Fauland, Staff Planner, reported that Oshman's Sporting Goods
had requested withdrawal of the request.
There were no persons present to speak for or against the request.
USE PERMIT NO. 90-27 WAS ACCEPTED AS WITHDRAWN PURSUANT TO THE
APPLICANT'S REQUEST BY THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR.
UN -SCHEDULED ITEMS:
Herb Fauland, Staff Planner, requested that reconsideration of
Administrative Review No. 90-4 be agendized for the June 6, 1990
Zoning Administrator Meeting. Staff reported that a letter had been
received from the President of the Country View Homeowners
Association which stated concerns regarding access to the model
homes through private streets and requested a reconsideration of the
item.
Staff recommended that Reconsideration of Administrative Review No.
90-4 be agendized for the June 6, 1990 Zoning Administrator Meeting.
RECONSIDERATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW NO. 90-4 WAS AGENDIZED FOR
THE JUNE 6, 1990 ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING BY THE ZONING
ADMINISTRATOR.
THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED BY THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR TO THE NEXT
REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR ON JUNE 6,
1990 AT 1:30 PM.
