ITEM 1: VARIANCE NO.99-2 (RAM MOTOR HOME PARKING)
APPLICANT/
PROPERTY OWNER:
Jerry Ram, 9361 Comstock Drive, Huntington Beach, CA 92646
REQUEST:
To allow a motor home to be parked on a 10 foot by 30 foot concrete
pad in the front yard in lieu of parking on the driveway or a paved area
between the driveway and the nearest side property line or in the rear
yard.
LOCATION:
9361 Comstock Drive (north side, at its intersection with Lancelot
Lane)
PROJECT PLANNER:
Ricky Ramos
Ricky Ramos, Staff Planner, stated this request for motor home parking on a concrete pad was
continued from the May 12, 1999 meeting to explore other options for the potential design and to
avoid a variance. Staff stated that the applicant has complied with required second driveway
requirements and the motor home may be parked in the second driveway negating the need for a
variance.
Staff is recommending acceptance of the withdrawal.
THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED.
Jerry Ram, 9361 Comstock Drive, applicant, was present and concurred with staff s
recommendation.
'THERE WERE NO OTHER PERSONS PRESENT TO SPEAK FOR OR AGAINST THE
REQUEST AND THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED.

ADMINISTRATOR.
THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED AT 1:35 PM BY THE ZONING
ADMINISTRATOR TO THE NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE
ZONING ADMINISTRATOR ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1691999 AT 1:30 PM.
