ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: STAFF MEMBER: MINUTES: ORAL COMMUNICATION: Mary Beth Broeren Ron Santos, Amy Wolfe None None ITEM 1: ENTITLEMENT PLAN AMENDMENT NO.00-13 (SCE TANK DECOMISSIONING) APPLICANT/ PROPERTY OWNER: Southern California Edison, P.O. Box 800, Rosemead, CA 91770 REQUEST: To amend condition of approval number 3(n) of Coastal Development Permit No. 00-12 that requires Southern California Edison (SCE) to construct the necessary Newland Street improvements along the property frontage prior to issuance of grading permits. The requested amendment is intended to revise the aforementioned condition of approval to require an agreement between the City and SCE, or a successor, in order to fund the street improvements at the time of property sale or such time as the street improvements are proposed to be constructed by the City. LOCATION: 21652 Newland Avenue (between Pacific Coast Highway and the Orange County Flood Control Channel) PROJECT PLANNER: Ron Santos Ron Santos, Staff Planner, stated the purpose and location of the request. Staff stated that the applicant has requested a continuance to the December 6, 2000, meeting. Mary Beth Broeren, Zoning Administrator, confirmed with staff that the item would not need to be re - advertised. THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. THERE WERE NO PERSONS PRESENT TO SPEAK FOR OR AGAINST THE REQUEST AND THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. ENTITLEMENT PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 00-13 WAS CONTINUED TO THE DECEMBER 6, 2000, MEETING. THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED AT 1:35 PM BY THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR TO THE NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2000 AT 1:30 PM.
