HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #16 ORDINANCE NO. 16 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF FIRE ARMS WITHIN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF. The Board of Trustees of the City Of Huntington Beach do ordain as follows: Section 1. It is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person, other than an officer of the law which on duty, to discharge any rifle or pistol within the corporate limits of the City of Huntington Beach except in target shooting in a shooting gallery regularly licensed by said city. Section 2. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine in a sum not to exceed Three Hundred Dollars $300.00, or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed three (3) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the Court. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance, and cause the same to be published once in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach, and there upon and there after it shall take effect and be in full force.
