Stewart AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF THE BONDS REQUIRED OF THE CITY MARSHAL, TREASURER, RECORDOR AND ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH. The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as Follows: — Sec 1 — The Several officers herein after named must, before entering upon the discharge of the duties of their respective offices, each execute a bond in favor of the City of Huntington Beach, with two or more good and sufficient sureties, or a Surety company licensed to do business in this state, conditioned for the faithful performance of all duties required of them by law, in the following final sums: — (a) The City Clerk and Ex officio Assessor in the final sum of one thousand dollars, ($1000.00). (b) The City Marshal and Ex officio Tax Collector in the final sum of Three thousand dollars, ($3000.00). (c) The City Treasurer in the final sum of Three thousand dollars, ($3000.00). (d) The City Recorder in the final sum of Five hundred dollars, ($500.00). (e) The City Attorney in the final sum of Five Hundred dollars, ($500.00). Sec 2. — This ordinance shall be published once in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach, and thereupon and thereafter it shall take effect and be in full force. The above ordinance passed and adopted by the said board of Trustees in open session at a regular meeting of the said Board on the 23rd day of Feby. 1909, and upon roll call of the members the following vote was Had: — Ayes— Helme, Howard, Stewart, Manning, Warner.
