AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GIFT FROM HUNTINGTON BEACH COMPANY OF PERPETUAL EASEMENT OVER CERTAIN LAND IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, AND DESIGNATING THE NAME BY WHICH SUCH TERRITORY SHALL BE KNOWN. Whereas, the Huntington Beach Company, a corporation, has deeded to the City of Huntington Beach a perpetual easement over the following described property for street purposes: the land between the Oceanside line of Ocean Avenue and the Pacific Ocean embraced between the extended lines of First Street and the laud embraced between the extended lines of Eleventh Street in the City of Huntington Beach; and Whereas, the same is necessary to the convenience, pleasure and business of the citizens of this community. Now Therefore, The Board of Trustees of The City of Huntington Beach do ordain as follows: Section L That the said easement and gift so deeded be and the same hereby is accepted, and Section IL The territory embraced between the extended lines of First Street shall be a part of First Street, and be known by that name, and Section III. The territory embraced between the extended lines of Eleventh Street shall be part of Eleventh Street, and be known by that name. Section IV. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance, and cause the same to be published once in the "Huntington Beach News," a newspaper printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach, and thereupon and thereafter it shall take effect and be in full force. Rosenberger, City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance is a true and correct copy of an ordinance of the City of Huntington Beach, Numbered 23 and entitled ORD. 023 1 "An Ordinance accepting gift from Huntington Beach Company of Perpetual Easement over certain laud in the City of Huntington Beach and designating the name by which such Territory shall be known." and that the same has been published in the "Huntington Beach News" a newspaper published and printed in the City of Huntington Beach according to law.
