AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH REQUIRING
PERSONS, FORMS OR CORPORATIONS SUPPLYING WATER IN THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH TO FURNISH FINANCIAL REPORTS TO THE SAID CITY.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do Ordain as Follows:
Section 1. Every person, firm or corporation supplying water to the City of
Huntington Beach, or the inhabitants thereof, shall, during the Month of January, 1910,
and during the month of January of each and every year thereafter, furnish to the Board
of Trustees of the said City of Huntington Beach, a detailed statement, verified by the
oath of the President and Secretary of such Corporation so supplying water, or by the
person or one of the firm, if not incorporated, showing the name of each water rate,
payer, his or her place of residence, and the amount paid for water by each of such water
rate payers, during the year preceeding the date of such statement; showing all revenue
derived from all sources; showing all expenditures made for supplying water during said
time; and showing the amount of money expended annually since Commencing business
with the purchase, construction and maintenance respectively, or the property necessary
to the carrying on of its business, and also the gross cash receipts annually for the same
period from all sources.
Section 2. Upon receiving the statement provided for in section 1 of this
Ordinance, the City Clerk shall Cause a copy thereof to be filed in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be
punishable by a fine of$300 00 or ninety days imprisonment in the City Jail, or by both
such fine and imprisonment.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and
cause the same to be published one in the"Huntington Beach News," a Newspaper
printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach, and thereupon and thereafter shall
take effect and be in full force.

Huntington Beach, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance is a true and correct copy
of an Ordinance of the City of Huntington Beach, Numbered, "36" and entitled An
Ordinance of the City of Huntington Beach requiring persons, firms or Corporations
supplying water in the City of Huntington Beach to furnish financial reports to the said
City and that the same was printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach
according to law on the 10th day of December, 1909,
