HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #62 ORDINANCE NO 62. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH NAMING CERTAIN STREETS THEREIN. The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as follows: - Section 1. That that certain highway, lying and being immediately south of blocks #704 and#705 of Wesley Park Section of the City of Huntington Beach, (as per map recorded in the book#4, page. 16 of Maps and Miscellaneous records of Orange County, California,) and immediately North of Blocks #604 and #605 of the Main Street Section of the City of Huntington Beach, (as per map recorded in Book#3 page 43 of Maps and Miscellaneous Records of Orange County, California,) and extending from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Alabama Street to the West line of Alabama Avenue shall be and is hereby declared to be a continuation of Palm Avenue, and is hereby named Palm Avenue. Section 2. That that certain highway, lying and being immediately South of Block#604 and#605 of main Street Section of the City of Huntington Beach(as per map recorded in Book#3, page 43 of Maps and Miscellaneous Records of Orange Country California.) and immediately North of Blocks #503 and#504 of said Main Street Section, and extending from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Alabama Avenue shall be and is hereby declared to be a continuation of Acacia Avenue and is hereby named Acacia Avenue. Section 3. That that certain highway lying and being immediately South of Block#503 and#504 of Main Street Section of the City of Huntington Beach (as per map recorded in Book#3, page 43 of Maps and Miscellaneous Record of Orange County, California) and immediately North of Blocks #403 and #402A of said Main Street Section and extending from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Alabama Avenue, shall be and is hereby declared to be a continuation of Magnolia Avenue and is hereby named Magnolia Avenue. Section 4. That that certain highway lying and being immediately South of Vista Del Mar Tract, No 3 of the City of Huntington Beach and having its center line on the South line of Section 11, Township 2, South Range 11 West, S.B.B.M. and extending from the East line of Railroad Avenue due East to the City limits of the City of Huntington Beach, shall be, and is hereby named Atlanta Street. Section 5. The City Clerk Pro tem shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Huntington Beach news, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, and thereupon and thereafter it shall take effect and be in force.
