" 13 The. Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do - I 14 ordain as follows: ------ � 15 Sec, 1, It is hereby ordained that a special election be - - --- -- { 16 'and is hereby called to be held in the city of Huntington Beach, -- - I is 17 �California, on Monday the 15th day of June 1914 , and that at such 18 lelection the following proposition. ahall be* submitted to the i 19 qualified electors of said city of Huntington Beach, California, T 20 !'to-wit: = 21 ;', "Shall a tax of' Fifteen cents on each One hundred Dollars of 22 the taxable..nroperty of said, city of Huntington Beach, Cal- 23 ifornia be levied and collected for the purpose of providing 24 'and maintaining parks and music and for advertising purposes ; ! 25 persuant to tha provisions od Chapter 420 of the statutes of 2611 California for 1911,, entitled, "An act authorizing Municipal p I 27 corporations other than freehold charter cities, to levy and 28 collect a to-x,f.or ,park,- music and advertising purposes. " — 29 . Sec. 2.
