The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as follovors ; SECTION 1. Each officer hereinafter named shall receive in full compensation for performing the duties of the office to which he is elected or appointed, including the office held by him ex-officio, the following. :,tzms, payable monthly on warrants order ed by the Board of Trustees: (a). The Marshal and Ex-officio Chief of Police and Ex- Officio Tax Collector, of the City of Huntington Beach shall receive the sum of �0 per month in full compensation for �---� performing all duties as said Marshal and Ex-officio Chief of Police and Ex-officio Tax Collector, said sums to be paid monthly on war- rants by the Board of. Trustees. (b). The City Recorder of the City of Huntington Beach od shall receive the sum of $ /�— ___per month in full com- pensation for performing all of his duties as said City Recorder, said sum to be payable monthly on warrants ordered by the Board of Trustees. (c). The Superintorzbnt of Streets, the Building Inspector, the Plumbing Inspector, the Electrician, the Health Officer, the Pound 1ila.ster and the Engineer of said City, shall severally receive such compensation as the Board of Trustees may fro ime to time deter- mine by resolution duly passed and adopted. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and• cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, published and cir culated in said City of Huntington Peach and ther.e- it shall take effect and be in forcet 72 { • PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach, Orange County, California, this =1? day of January, 1922.
