AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB-DIVISION B OF SECTION,I OF ORDINANCE # 255, ENTITLED: " AN ORDINANCE OF TEE AC,ITY OF HUNTINGTON BFACH-;:.GALIFONNIA, REGULATING THE PARKING AND STANDING OF MOTORi'VEHICLES AND OTHER VEHICLES UPON THE PUBLIC STREET, HIGHWAYS, ALLEYS AND OTHER, PUBLIC PLACES. OF SAID CITY AND REGULATING TRAFFIC IN%CE$TAIN_ OF THE PUBLIC ALLEYS OF THE SAID CITY AND , REPLACING ALL . ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH." The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as 0 i'oilows: Section 1. That sub-division B of Section I of Ordinance #255 entitled "An ordinance of the City of Huntington Beach, California regulating the parking and standing of motor vehicles and other vehicles upon the public streets, highways4 alleys and other public places of said city and regulating traffic in. certain of the public alleys of the said city and repealing all ordinances in conflict herewith," be and the same is hereby amended so as to read' as follows: "(b) On Main Street from the Northeasterly .line of Ocean Avenue to the Southwesterly line of Orange Avenue and on Eleventh Street from the Northeasterly lisle of Olive Avenue to the Southwesterly line of Orange Avenue no motor vehicles, automobiles, or other vehicles shall . . a be parked or left standing except at an angle of Forty-five (45) degrees with the curb of said street, and so that the right 'hand; front wheel of said automobile, motor vehicle or other vehicle shall be 'within eighteen (18) inches of the curb and on Main Street from the Northeasterly line of Orange Avenue to the Southwesterly line of Magnolia Avenue no motor vehicle, automobile or other vehicle shall be parked or left standing except parallel with the curb of said n Street at such places and with w " the center of the tread of the tires^of such automobiles motor,vehiele , or other vehicle not more than eighteen (16) inches from the face of the said curb. ". Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper of . -1- r ' general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said city of Huntington Beach, Ca-ifornia and thirty days after its publication: 'the same shall take effect and be in force.
