AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, FIXING THE
1 AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION TO:'' BE RECEIVED BY CERTAIN CITY
2 OFFIC. RS. TO-WIT: MEMBERS OF TH9 CITY COUNCIL.
3 The People of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as follows:
4 Section 1. Each member of the City Council of the City .of Hunting-
+ 5 ton Beach shall receive as full compensation for all services rendered
i
6 by them in their official capacity as such, the sum of Fifty ($50.00)
7 Dollars per month which shall be p , paid upon warrants drawn upon; the
8 City Treasury.
9 Section 2. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict with
10 this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3. The City Clerk shall- certify to the adoption of this
12
Ordinance and cause the same to be pub;ished by one insertion in the
13
Huntington Beach News, a Weekly Newspaper, printed, published and
14
circulated in said City, and this Ordinance shall take affect Ten Days
15
after canvass of the election at which this Ordinance is submitted, if
16
a majority of the qualified electors voting on said Ordinance shall vote
17
in favor thereof.

PASSED AND ADOPTED, by the People of the City of Huntington Beach
19
at a regular municipal election held in saiA City on the Ninth- day of
20
April, 1928.
