AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
AMENDI14G ORDINANCE NO. 322 OF SAID CITY,
ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO
AND REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS �
OF THE, CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEPCH AIJD REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH" , AS
AMENDED.

The City Council of the City of Huntington-Beach,
California, do ordain as follows:
Section 1: That Section 23 of Ordinance No. 322,
as amended, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as
follows:
Section 23: The following street intersections
in the City of Huntington Beach are hereby designated as "STOP"

intersections:
1. Main Street and Seventeenth Street.
2. Seventeenth Street and Orange Avenue.
3. Main Street and Walnut Avenue.
4. Main street and Olive Avenue.
5. Main Street and Magnolia Avenue.
6. Delaware Avenue and Indianapolis Street.

7. Lake Street and Acacia Avenue.
8. 1 Frankfort Street and Delaware Avenue.
All vehicles entering or crossing said intersections
are hereby required to stop at the following entrances thereof, ,
provided said entrances are clearly marked or sign-posted as
required by the Vehicle Code of the State of` California:

entering; or. crossing said intersection from Seventeenth Street
are required to stop at the entrance thereof.

2. Seventeenth Street aryl Orange Avenue : All vehicles
entering or crossing said intersection from Orange Avenue are
required to stop at the entrance thereof. 0
3. Main Street and Walnut Avenue: All vehicles
entering or crossing said intersection from Walnut Avenue are ,
required to stop at the entrance thereof. i
4. Vain Street and Olive Avenue: All vehicles

entering or crossing said intersection from Olive Avenue on
the easterly side of Main Street are hereby required to stop ,
at said easterly entrance.
5. Main Street and Magnolia Avenue: All vehicles
entering or crossing; said intersection from Magnolia Avenue on

the easterly side of Main Street are hereby required to stop at
said easterly entrance.
6. D61aware Avenue and Indianapolis Street ; All vehicles G
entering or crossing said intersection from Indianapolis Street
are required to stop at the entrance thereof.
7. Lake Street and Acacia Avenue: All vehicles enter-
ing or crossing said intersection from Lake Street are required
to stop at the entrance thereof.
B. Frankfort Street and Delaware Avenue: All vehicles
entering or crossing said intersection from Frankfort Street on
the easterly side of Delaware Avenue are hereby required to stop
at said easterly entrance.
The Chief of Police is hereby authorized, and directed
to place and maintain a "STOP" sign at or near the entrance of
the intersection where said stop is required. Said "STOP" sign
shall comply- with the provisions -of said vehicle Code of the
State of California.

Section 2: he city Clerk shall certify to the I
passage and adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same
to be published bTr one insertion in the Huntington Beach News,.
a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the
City of Huntington Beach, and thirty (30) days after the
adoption hereof the same shalA take effect and be in force.
