HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #553 ORDINANCE N0. 5'S3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, SETTING THE FEE FOR CONNECTING WITH SEWER LINES AND PROVIDING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. I The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, do ordain as follows: Section 1: That a fee of One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) Dollars is hereby levied for the use and benefit of the City of Huntington Beach, to be collected for each con— nection made to the sewer lines on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Tract 1156, and the unsubdivided area lying north of Hartford Street and between Lot A. Block 805 of Vista Del Mar Tract, and Florida Street. All sums of money so collected shall be deposited in the general fund of the City, and it is hereby declared unlawful and to constitute a misdemeanor to connect with said sewer until a permit therefor is issued by the plumbing inspector of the City of Huntington Beach, Calif— ornia. 1 Ord. 553 Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion iri the Hunting-• ton Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, 1 and thirty (30) days after the adoption hereof the same shall take effect and be in force.
