AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH, SETTING THE FEE FOR CONNECTING
WITH SEWER LINES IN BLOCKS 911 and 913
OF WESLEY PARK TRACT, TRACT #68, AND
BLOCKS 17039 1803 AND 1903 OF TRACT #12,
AND PROVIDING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach,
California, ordains as follows:
Section 1: That a fee of $100.00 is hereby levied for
the use and benefit of the City of Huntington Beach, to be
collected for each connection made to the sewer line extension
in Blocks 911 and 913, Wesley Park Tract, Huntington Beach,
as per map thereof recorded in Book 4, page 17 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; in Blocks 1703,
1803 and 1903 of Tract #12, Huntington Beach, as per map re-
corded in Book 9, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California; and in Tract #68, Huntington Beach,
as per map recorded in Book 10, page 12 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California.,
All sums of money so collected :: shall be deposited in
the general fund of the City of Huntington Beach, and it is
hereby declared unlawful and to constitute a misdemeanor to
connect with said sewer until a permit therefor is issued by
the Plumbing Inspector of the City. of Huntington Beach.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a

weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated in the
City of Huntington Beach, California; and thirty days after
the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in
force.

I, JOHN L. HENRICKSEN, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
ordinance was first read to said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of February , 1953,
and was again read to said City Council at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 16th day of February, , 1953, and
was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more than a
majority of all the members of said City Council, as follows:
