HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #637 ORDINANCE NO. 637 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH PROHIBITING THE TRANSFERRING OF OIL FROM OIL STORAGE OR PRODUCTION TANKS TO TRUCKS and ADDING SECTION 2428.1 TO THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, do ordain as follows: Section 1: That a new section be and the same is hereby added to the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, designated Section 2428.1, to read as follows: §action 2428.1. Transferring of oil from tanks to trucks - Hours. It shall be unlawful to transfer oil, water or other substances from production or storage tanks to trucks or other mobile equipment between the hours of 10 P.M. to 6 A.M. in the following districting zones: R-1, R-1-09 R-21 R-2-01 R-3, R-3-0, R-4, R-4-0, R-5-01 M-1-01 C-3 and C-3-0 within said city excepting that portion of said mentioned zones lying westerly of 17th Street and easterly of Hampshire Avenue, Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, Orange County, California; and thirty (30) days after the adoption here- of the same shall take effect and be in force. 1.
