AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH RELATING TO STEAM ELECTRIC GENER-
ATING STATION, AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON
BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY ADDING SECTION
9443.1
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after a public
hearing, has recommended to the City Council that the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Huntington Beach be amend-
ed by adding Section 9443.1 to the Huntington Beach Ordi-
nance Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the recommend-
ation of the Planning Commission.-
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
do ordain as follows:
Sectionl: That the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code
be and the same is hereby amended by adding a new section
to said Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, said new section
to be placed in the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code follow-
ing Section 9443, and to be in words and figures as follows:
Section�,.9443.1. Steam Electric Generating Station.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause
the same to be published by one insertion in the Hunting-
ton Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published

and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, Orange
County, California, and thirty (30) days after the
adoption thereof the same shall take effect and be in
force.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City .Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, this nth day of June
1956.

affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the mem-
bers of said City Council as follows:
