HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #649 ORDINANCE No. 649 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN SAID CITY FROM AN R-1 DISTRICT TO AN M-2-0 DISTRICT, AMENDING SECTION 9211.2 BY AMENDING SHEET No.17 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP OF SAID CITY. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: Section 1: That Section 9211.2 be and the same is hereby amended by amending Sheet No. 17 of the District- ing Map of the City of Huntington Beach, reclassifying the hereinafter described real property from an R-1 District to an M-2-0 District. The land so classified is describ- ed as follows: Those portions of Sections 13 and 24 in Township 6 South, Range 11 West, S.B.B. & M. , in the Rancho Las Bolsas, bounded on the West by the centerline of Newland Street also be- ing the North and South centerline of said ' Section 13; on the North by the South line of the existing M-2-0 Industrial District as established by said City of Huntington Beach; on the Southwest by the Northeaster- ly line of the Pacific Coast (State) High- way, 100 feet wide; on the Southeast by a line described as follows:- beginning at the intersection of a line that- is parallel 1. Ord. 649 • with and 100 feet westerly, measured at right angles, from the East line of the West half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 13, with the , Southwesterly line of the land con- veyed -by Willow Land Company to A. C. Thorpe by deed recorded June 13, 1917, in Book 302, Page 69, of Deeds, in .the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence South- westerly in a direct line to a point in said Northeasterly line of Pacific Coast (State) Highway, said point being 400 feet Southeast- erly, measured along said Northeasterly line , from the intersection thereof with said cen- terline of Newland Street. Section 2: That a copy of Sheet No.17, as hereby amended, of said Districting Map of the City of Hunting- ton Beach, County of Orange , State of California, togeth- er with all notations, references, data, district bound- aries and other information thereon is attached hereto, made a part hereof and is hereby adopted. Section 3: That the Clerk shall certify to the pass- age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Hunting- ton Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published. f 2.
